I have so many memories of Donna-Marie at The Hamlet.

She’d call me ‘love’ only because she knew i didn't like it, then cackle at the joy of it. It was impossible not to forgive her! 

She loved being the DJ at any opportunity; at a party or in the minibus. On one day trip she sat in the front of the minibus putting on her CDs but never letting a whole song play as she wanted to move on to the next one. We made a deal that on the way back she could choose the CD but only if she let us us listen to the whole thing with no interruptions. Of course she chose the Frozen soundtrack and stuck to her side of the deal!

D-M was truly a joy to be around. She had boundless energy that encouraged other people to get involved.

We will never forget you, D-M.
